I’m totally not ready to buy a PSvita…It looks alright and all, but I’m a little bit worried that, with all this new tech, game developers will focus on AAA titles and more mainstream western stuff. Afterall, it seems everyone just wants a new CoD game or some silly thing with ultra realistic graphics.
My PSP is the best gaming system I’ve ever owned and I know I’m still going to be playing it as 2012 comes to a close. I felt it was the perfect platform for my favourite genre (rpgs) since the hardware was good enough to render some nice 3D scenes, but also excelled in providing crisp 2D graphics, all on the go! The ability to download old PSX classics such as Final Fantasy V, VI, VII, VIII and IX definitely cemented its place as my favourite too.
Sure, the PSV will be able to do this too, but I’m just not ready for an upgrade. There are so many more games I want to play, and it seriously doesn’t feel like I’m using dated hardware. Honestly, the only things that interest me on the PSVita at the moment are the Final Fantasy X remake and Disgaea 3. I’ll get one eventually, but maybe when the next model is released.

Howdy stranger! I'm Will, a guy with a passion for fire dancing, roller derby and extreme unicycle. I'm currently a second year psychology student who enjoys playing video games just a bit too much. More often than not I listen to metal, but certainly don't limit myself to just one genre.

So, yeah.
